NEW DELHI: Even as AAP chief and Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal refuses to shift the protest venue, rival parties Congress and BJP do not want to let the opportunity go.
Leaders from both parties have intensified their demand to dismiss the Kejriwal government and put Delhi under Central rule.
BJP took the fight to the street in the morning. Vijay Goel began a march towards the protest venue along with 200 supporters but was stopped by police mid-way. He condemned the AAP agitation saying it was causing serious disruptions in the area and putting common man in trouble.
Kiran Bedi, who has been hobnobbing with Anna Hazare before joining BJP recently, demanded dismissal of the Kejriwal-led government on Tuesday. She accused AAP leaders of creating chaos in the city and making lives of people of Delhi worse. AAP government is doing something wrong every day.
Even leaders of Congress party are not lagging behind their rival BJP. First it was Delhi Congress chief Arvinder Singh Lovely who warned Kejriwal to stop the protest or they will be forced to reconsider their support to his government.
Following this, a number of leaders have started expressing their displeasure against the government and put pressure on party high command to pull down the Delhi government.
BJP leader Arun Jaitley strongly criticised the AAP leaders, Arvind Kejriwal in particular. He said they are not governing the capital but creating anarchy. AAP government should go immediately. The more it is delayed, Delhiites will face bigger loss.
