The political class is paying the price for underestimating the common man. In stead of accepting the defeat with humility, they are engaged in finding fault with voters.
Accusing AAP of cheating, they question Delhi voters’ wisdom. Do they want to say it is so easy to fool people of Delhi? They refuse to believe “a common man can do what they could not in six decades”. And, this is why almost all the leaders have claimed since elections results are announced that AAP will fail to deliver. Be it water, electricity, corruption or whatever, AAP can never achieve what it has promised in its election manifesto.
Kejriwal claims all promises are made after extensive research on their feasibility. He has already announced to provide 700 litres of water free from the day he assumes power, and will pass the Janlokpal bill within 15 days. Power tariff will also be reduced. The tasks are tough but doable.
