NEW DELHI: The poster boy-turned-rebel MLA Vinod Kumar Binny announced Thursday that he would not quit AAP and continue his fight against party chief Arvind Kejriwal from inside party forums, and will force him to fulfil all the promises it made before polls.

Kejriwal had accused Binny on Wednesday that the MLA was angry for being denied a berth in the Delhi cabinet and a Lok Sabha ticket subsequently.

Binny rubbished all his claims and declared he would continue his fight until his party fullfil all election promises it made the voters of Delhi.

He alleged his party leadership is deviating from core issues of proving free water upto 700 liters a day to each household and 50% slash in electricity bills.

The government cleverly ditched the people by announcing any household crossing the limit has to pay the full amount. The same happened in case of electricity bill too, said the MLA.

He also accused Kejriwal, who is close to the son of ex-CM Sheila Dikshit, held closed-door negotiations with the corrupt party to enter into a tie-up and form government.

“We had announced publicly that we wouldn’t give or take support of any political party. Then what prompted the party to change the decision. Discussions were held behind closed doors on the issue,” alleged the MLA who left Congress a year ago to join AAP.

Binny had publicly displayed his unhappiness after he was left out of the Cabinet in December.

Rubbishing Kejriwal’s charges, Binny declared to go on hunger strike if the AAP government fails to fulfill all election promises by January 27.
