The brave, honest and simple IAS officer D K Ravi was found dead in mysterious condition in Bengaluru. His family members, friends and people close to him refuse to believe the state government’s claim that it was a case of suicide.
The young officer had earned the wrath of many dishonest builders, businessmen and sand mafia among others for his firm action against people involved in illegal trade and tax evasion. He was not the only bureaucrat who fell victim to honesty. Such cases surface at regular intervals. The big question remains is honesty always the best policy?
