NEW DELHI: In a bid to connect to the common man, the BJP launched a special drive ‘Mere Sapno Ka Bharat’ on the 65th Republic Day of India. Party chief Rajnath Singh launched the campaign even as its PM candidate Narendra Modi congratulated all for the initiative that aims to promote participatory governance.
‘Mere Sapno Ka Bharat’ is an idea-centric initiative that invites ideas from the common man on how to improve governance and what should be the vision to build the modern India.
A participant has to record/click a video/photo and post them on the India 272+ portal which will be reviewed by a panel of experts like Kirron Kher and Paresh Rawal.
The finalists will get an opportunity to meet Modi and share their thoughts with him. Modi has a clear edge over his contenders in the race to become India’s next prime minister in a number of surveys conducted recently.
The project aims facilitating participation of common people at 60 Venues in Delhi this week. Next week the volunteers shall touch 300 venues in 100 cities across the nation before it starts its state-wise effort.
The initiative will empower the average Indian to contribute towards nation building.
