NEW DELHI: Two teen-aged girls, both sisters from Rohtak, fought back against eve teasing by two youth in a moving bus in Haryana even as the passengers preferred to witness the incident silently.
Haryana police have registered a case and reportedly identified the two culprits after receiving a video clip of the incident, shut by an woman passenger in the bus with a mobile phone.
The two brave girls fought back even after getting injured as the eve teasers tried to push them out of the bus. With rising incidents of eve teasing and harassment of women in public places, women feel unsafe even in market areas and public transport.
They have become a source of inspiration for millions of girls across the nation who prefer to keep quiet since no one dares to come to their rescue even in crowded areas, and the anti-socials get encouraged.
