Khan who claimed to have witnessed the incident, said the crowd called Rajdeep a traitor and anti-national to which he got angry and rebuked the youth, going away. But someone from the crowd shouted at him to which he came back and pushed the youth.
However, the Financial Times journalist did not blame Sardesai for the incident, saying the latter was intimidated and anybody would have fallen prey to the game plan.
Meanwhile, another more video was posted on social media showing Rajdeep asking people their remarks on Narendra Modi’s involvement in the 2002 Gujarat riots and the visa denial to him by the US.
The video on Youtube shows Rajdeep asking repeatedly an US Congressman if his nation had committed a mistake by denying visa to Modi earlier even as the crowd who had come to attend Modi’s address expressing displeasure over his choice of questions.
Even many people condemned the senior journalist and accused him of bias in their feedback on Youtube, and doubted his integrity to nation.
