‘A Silent Melody’ goes viral on Valentine Day eve

A ten-minute video film on how a deaf and dumb young school teacher fell in love with a neighbourhood boy has gone viral on internet.

The video was published on Youtube on the eve of the Valentine’s Day, portraying the Indian youth who have become more forthright now a days, and do not hesitate to express their love to someone in public.

However, India has witnessed violent protests and physical assaults of young couple on celebrating the occasion recently. People with affiliation to right-wing Hindu outfits warn against celebrating the day in public. They claim this violets Hindu culture and erode social values.

Valentine’s Day is celebrated on February 14 globally as young couples express love in public and share happiness with each other.
